Q: Do the classes cost?
A: Yes, There is a nominal monthly subscription fee, which you can cancel anytime, but there are no refunds.
Q: What ages are the art projects geared towards?
A: Most classes are geared for school aged children but a ton of fun for teens and adults as well! Younger children would enjoy with some parental help.
Q: When are the class times?
A: Every class is broadcast live in our private group but they are all recorded and archived so you can watch classes when its most convenient for you and your family. Live class times will vary. Updates and schedules are sent out a week prior to class.
Q: What art supplies will I need?
A: We try to utilize basic art supplies such as acrylic paint, watercolors, markers, pastels, pencils, crayons, glue, scissors, various types of paper and canvas. Each project is specific and a supply list will be sent out. All basic art supplies are listed in our group announcement. Occasionally we will incorporate a unique art supply such as yarn, recycled items, stamps, fabric etc.. Advance notice will be sent out in those cases to assure you are fully prepared for class.
Q: Who are the art teachers
A: Mrs. Papaya (aka Nik-kia), she is a self taught artist with a passion for teaching young and the young at heART all about the art that is inside her heART! She creates a relaxed, fun and creative learning environment that you are sure to enjoy. We are always looking for other artist interested in collaborating in order to give an artistically diverse experience.
Q: Is Mrs. Papaya accessible if we have questions about the project?
A: ABSOLUTELY!!!! The message tab is always open to leave a question or comment. She responds in an impressively timely manner!
Q: Do we have to have a Facebook account to get access to Art At Home with Mrs. Papaya? How many of my family members aloud on one account?
A: Yes, you must have a Facebook account in order to participate in Art at Home with Mrs. Papaya. You are welcome to request additional free account access for children living under your roof. (Example: the tween/teenager that might want to do art on their own and not at the kitchen table with younger siblings). One subscription is good for your entire family.
Q: What if my friends want to join as well?
A: Great! They are welcome to join here.
